Revere, MA – In their only scheduled debate of the campaign, challenger John Cunningham clearly bested long term incumbent Congressman Ed Markey yesterday. Cunningham showed how his principled, constitutional stances contrast to Markey’s partisan politics and philosophy that amounts to central planning.

John Cunningham was mentioned in the Boston Herald on Thursday, and had some good comments.

John Cunningham will be debating Ed Markey at 2pm on Thursday October 30th, 2008. The debate will be held at the Revere Special Needs Center (200 Winthrop Street, Revere, MA) and we need volunteers to come hold signs outside from 1pm to 3pm.

Volunteers will be holding signs at the large, nearby intersection and at the entrance when John arrives.

Unfortunately, the terms of the debate from the Markey campaign do not allow for an audience but the debate video will be posted here on our site and will be aired on most cable access stations in the district.

On Saturday, John attend and spoke at a meeting of the Massachusetts Liberty Preservation association:

John Cunningham handed out literature today to students at MIT. He had a great time and enjoys talking with bright students.
